Data Deletion
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This page confirms how Byvano, operated by Seztech Inc., handles requests to delete data connected through Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
What gets deleted
When you remove Byvano from your Instagram or Facebook account, or submit a data deletion request through those platforms, we automatically and permanently delete:
- Your account connection and every access token we stored for it
- Any media (Reels/videos) and metadata you imported into Byvano
- Product tags and widget associations tied to that imported media
- Every scheduled delivery to that account, and the publish history for it — the network's post IDs, permalinks, timestamps, and any errors
- Scheduled posts that existed only for that account, including their captions, hashtags, and media references. A post that also targets another network you still have connected is kept, minus the deleted destination — deleting one account must not destroy the other network's copy of the same post
- The performance figures we retrieved for that account and its posts, including cached reach, engagement, and audience breakdowns
Content that Byvano already published to your Page or profile is yours and stays where it is — it belongs to your social account, not to Byvano, so deleting your Byvano data does not remove live posts. To take those down, delete them on the network itself.
Stopping scheduled posts
Disconnecting an account in Byvano under Scheduler → Accounts, or revoking access on the network, stops all future publishing to it immediately — including posts already queued. Nothing is published to an account Byvano can no longer reach.
Request deletion manually
You can also request deletion at any time by emailing contact@byvano.com from the address associated with your account, or from within Byvano under Settings. We honor Instagram's and Facebook's deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks automatically.
