What is Byvano?+
Byvano is a dashboard for ecommerce brands with two products: video commerce, which turns your Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks and uploads into shoppable videos on your store, and a social scheduler that plans and publishes posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram, and uploads videos and Shorts to YouTube channels.
Who is Byvano for?+
Online stores and the small teams or agencies that run them — especially brands that already make short videos for social and want those videos to drive sales on their own site.
Do I need technical skills?+
No. You connect accounts with a few clicks, and WooCommerce stores install our plugin like any other WordPress plugin. There is no theme code to edit.
Stores & platforms
Which store platforms are supported?+
Three ways, all from Connections → Stores in your dashboard. Shopify stores connect directly with their .myshopify.com address (in beta). WooCommerce stores connect through the Byvano plugin (a ZIP you download from our Resources page) or a read-only REST key. Any other store — Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Magento or your own site — adds its products by hand or from a Google Shopping product feed, and shows videos by pasting one embed snippet.
Which social networks can I publish to?+
Facebook Pages, Instagram professional (business or creator) accounts and YouTube channels are live. LinkedIn Pages are coming soon.
Where can I import videos from?+
Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and regular YouTube videos, and direct uploads (MP4 or WebM, up to 100 MB). TikTok import is in beta.
Can I connect more than one Instagram account or Facebook Page?+
Yes. A workspace can hold several Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages. When a login gives access to more than one, Byvano asks which ones you want to use.
Shoppable video
How do I tag products on a video?+
Open Product tagging, pick a video and search your store catalogue by product name or SKU. Click a product to tag it. You can tag several products on one video.
What widget layouts are available?+
Five: Carousel, Stories, Grid, Floating and Inline. Each widget can be placed on the homepage, product pages, collection pages or a custom location.
How do shoppers buy from a video?+
Tagged products appear with the video, with their image, price and a Shop button that takes the shopper straight to the product.
Can I use different widgets on different pages?+
Yes. Create as many widgets as you need — for example Stories on the homepage and a carousel on product pages — each with its own videos.
Will videos slow down my store?+
The widget shows lightweight, lazy-loaded thumbnails first and only streams a video when a shopper opens it, so it adds very little to page load.
Scheduler
What can I schedule?+
Photo and video posts, Reels and Stories for Instagram; text, photo, video and link posts and Reels for Facebook Pages. You can attach images, videos or a shoppable video from your library.
Can Byvano post Instagram carousels or a first comment?+
Not yet. Instagram posts are published as single-image or single-video posts, Reels or Stories.
Does Byvano tell me the best time to post?+
Analytics includes a grid showing when your past posts went out and how they did, so you can spot your own patterns. It does not pick a time for you.
Can I schedule posts in bulk?+
Yes. Import a CSV of posts or a ZIP of media from the Media library, or use the REST API to schedule from your own tools.
Pricing & billing
Is Byvano free?+
There is a Free plan forever, and during our launch offer every account gets all Growth-plan features free until 17 March 2027. No card is needed.
What happens after the launch offer?+
Your account moves to the plan you are billed for — the Free plan if you have not upgraded. Your videos and posts stay, and you can upgrade to Starter ($29/month) or Growth ($99/month) at any time.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Paid plans are monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Email contact@byvano.com if you need help.
Do you charge per view?+
No. Plans are based on the number of videos, never on views or impressions.
Privacy & security
What permissions does Byvano ask for?+
Only what you choose. For each account you pick whether Byvano may import videos, publish posts or read insights, and the network asks only for those permissions.
Will Byvano ever post without my say-so?+
No. Byvano only publishes posts that you created or scheduled. Importing videos never posts anything, and disconnecting an account stops all future publishing to it.
How is my data protected?+
Access tokens for your connected accounts are encrypted at rest, and we never sell your data. You can export all of your data or delete your account from Settings.
