WordPress plugin on wordpress.org
Byvano ships a WooCommerce plugin published on wordpress.org. Import social video, tag WooCommerce products, and place shoppable widgets with a shortcode or a block — on product pages, the shop archive, or any page in your theme.

WooCommerce gives you a product gallery built for images. You can force video into it with a plugin, and the result is usually a video that plays, is not tagged, is not measured, and sits in a lightbox where nobody finds it. The gap between "there is a video on this page" and "this video sells the product" is where most WooCommerce video plugins stop.
Self-hosting compounds the problem. A WooCommerce store on shared hosting that serves its own MP4 files is paying for that decision twice: once in bandwidth, and once in the Largest Contentful Paint penalty that a 12 MB autoplaying hero video imposes on every visitor. WordPress makes it easy to upload a video to the media library, and easy is exactly why so many WooCommerce stores have a Core Web Vitals problem they cannot trace.
Byvano takes a different route. Video streams from the platform it was published on — Instagram, YouTube or TikTok — so your own hosting serves markup, not media. The plugin adds the tagging, the shoppable overlay and the attribution that the gallery never had.
Install Byvano Video Commerce from the WordPress plugin directory or upload the ZIP, then activate it as you would any plugin.
Generate a key in your Byvano dashboard and paste it into the plugin settings. The plugin authenticates against the Byvano REST API and syncs your WooCommerce catalogue.
Import videos from your connected social accounts, then tag WooCommerce products onto them in the visual editor.
Use the shortcode, the Gutenberg block, or the automatic product-page placement setting. Elementor, Divi and classic themes all accept the shortcode.
Turn on automatic placement and the plugin inserts a widget on every product page, filtered to videos tagged with that product. This is the fastest path to full coverage and the right default for a catalogue of any size.
Drop the shortcode into any post, page, widget area or page-builder text block for full control over placement. Useful for landing pages, category descriptions and blog content where a specific playlist makes sense.
Insert the Byvano block in the block editor and pick a widget from a dropdown. No shortcode syntax to remember.
For custom themes, call the render function directly from a template file. This is the option that survives contact with a heavily customised WooCommerce build.
The plugin is tested against current WordPress and WooCommerce releases and does not require a specific theme. It works alongside page builders rather than against them, because it renders through a shortcode and a block rather than by filtering the product gallery — which is where most video plugins collide with Elementor and Divi.
Because video streams from the source platform, adding shoppable video does not increase the size of your WordPress uploads directory, does not increase your backup size, and does not put media on your origin server. On shared hosting, that difference is the difference between video being viable and video being the reason your product pages fail Core Web Vitals.
The widget script is loaded asynchronously and deferred until the widget scrolls into view, so it does not extend your render-blocking chain.
Byvano Video Commerce is published on the WordPress plugin directory at wordpress.org/plugins/byvano-video-commerce. Install it from your WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New, or download the ZIP and upload it.
Yes. The widget renders through a shortcode, a Gutenberg block or a direct template call, so it works in any builder that accepts a shortcode and in custom themes that can call a PHP function.
No, and you should not want to. Video streams from Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. Your WordPress uploads directory, your backups and your origin bandwidth are all unaffected.
WooCommerce and direct byvano.com accounts are billed through the byvano.com dashboard, which may use Stripe checkout. Merchants who installed through the Shopify App Store are always billed in Shopify Admin instead — the two never mix.
Yes. A single Byvano account can serve multiple connected storefronts, which is the practical reason merchants running both platforms tend to consolidate here rather than paying two vendors.
The widget script is asynchronous and defers video loading until the widget is in the viewport. Because media is not served from your origin, the usual WooCommerce video penalty — large self-hosted MP4s inflating LCP — does not apply.
