Reels, Stories, photos and video
Queue a week of Instagram content and let it publish itself — Reels, Stories, photos and video, auto-posted to Business and Creator accounts through the official API. Then take the Reels that earned attention and make them shoppable on your storefront.

Instagram is the platform where scheduling tools most often overpromise, so this section is deliberately specific. The constraints below are Instagram's, and they apply to every tool equally — the difference between products is whether they tell you before you have built a workflow on an assumption.
Reels, single photos, single videos and Stories all publish automatically to Instagram Business and Creator accounts. Captions run to 2,200 characters. Hashtags and @-mentions work in the caption. Alt text can be set on image posts, which is both an accessibility improvement and one of the few pieces of text Instagram gives you outside the caption.
Carousels are not offered. The API builds them as a container per item plus a parent container, and Byvano's adapter does not implement that yet — putting the option in the composer would only produce a failure at publish time, which is worse than its absence. First comments are unavailable because they need comment-management permission that Byvano deliberately does not request, since it would widen the consent screen for every merchant to gain one convenience. There is no text-only post and no link post on Instagram at all, for anybody.
You need an Instagram Business or Creator account. Instagram's Content Publishing API does not serve personal accounts, so no tool can schedule to one — a product that claims to is either automating a browser or asking for your password. Converting is free and reversible from Instagram's own settings.
For years, "scheduling Instagram" in most tools meant a push notification at the appointed hour telling you to open the app and finish posting by hand. That was a genuine platform limitation once. It is not any more for Business and Creator accounts, and a tool still working that way is asking you to be its publishing infrastructure.
Byvano publishes Reels directly. You attach the video, write the caption, choose the account and the time, and at that time the post appears. There is nothing to confirm and nothing to open. For a store running four or five Reels a week across a couple of accounts, that is the difference between a content calendar and a recurring interruption.
The practical constraint worth planning around is media. Instagram fetches the video from a URL rather than accepting an upload inline, which means the file has to be publicly reachable at publish time. Byvano hosts uploaded media for exactly this reason, and the failure this prevents — Instagram's opaque "the media could not be fetched from this URI" — is one of the harder errors to diagnose from the outside.
Stories are the most consistently underused surface for an ecommerce brand, largely because they expire in twenty-four hours and so feel like they must be spontaneous. In practice the opposite is true. The stores that get results from Stories are the ones running them as a dependable daily rhythm — a restock, a behind-the-scenes clip, a customer photo, a countdown — and dependable rhythms are exactly what scheduling produces.
Byvano schedules photo and video Stories the same way it schedules feed posts. A week of Stories built on Monday runs itself through Friday, which is a far more realistic ask of a small team than remembering at 9pm each evening.
This is where an Instagram scheduler inside an ecommerce platform stops resembling the general-purpose tools. A Reel that performs has proven something specific and valuable: this creative, for this product, convinces people. That proof has a shelf life of about two days on Instagram and an indefinite one on your product page.
Byvano imports the Reel into your library, lets you tag the exact products it features, and publishes it as a widget on your Shopify or WooCommerce storefront — a carousel on the home page, a grid on a collection page, or an inline player on the product page itself. The shopper who was going to bounce because photography did not answer their question now watches the clip that already convinced ten thousand people, and can buy from inside it.
The measurement changes too. Instead of engagement rate as a proxy for commercial value, you get views, clicks, add-to-carts and attributed revenue for that specific video on your own store. That is the number that tells you what to shoot next.
It auto-publishes. Reels, photos, videos and Stories post directly through Instagram's Content Publishing API at the scheduled time, with nothing to confirm in the app.
Yes — photo and video Stories both schedule and publish automatically to Business and Creator accounts.
Not currently. The carousel endpoint requires a container per item plus a parent container, which the adapter does not implement yet, and offering it in the composer would only produce failures at publish time. Single photos, videos, Reels and Stories all work.
Yes. Instagram's publishing API is not available for personal accounts, so this applies to every scheduling tool rather than to Byvano specifically. Switching is free in the Instagram app and can be undone.
Not on Instagram. That needs comment-management permission which Byvano does not request, because it would widen the consent screen for every merchant to add one convenience. Hashtags in the caption work normally, and Instagram has said for some time that caption and first-comment hashtags perform equivalently.
Multiple accounts per workspace, subject to your plan. A single composed post can target several of them, with each destination tracking its own publish status.
No. The Content Publishing API is Instagram's own supported route for business publishing and posts made through it are not distinguished from in-app posts. What moves reach is the content, the format and the consistency.
Yes, and it is the reason to use Byvano rather than a general scheduler. Import the Reel, tag the products it features, and publish it as a widget on your Shopify or WooCommerce storefront with per-video views, clicks and attributed revenue.
