Widget
Carousel widget
Also known as: Video carousel
A horizontal row of video thumbnails that scroll, each opening into a shoppable player.
In detail
A carousel widget is a horizontal strip of video thumbnails that a shopper swipes through; tapping a thumbnail opens the clip in a fullscreen player with the product tags overlaid. This is the most forgiving placement for a product-page or homepage because it fits the width of any theme and does not interrupt the page flow. Byvano's carousel is lazy-loaded and plays only the first visible video, so the Lighthouse score of the host page is not materially affected.
Examples
- A product page shows a carousel of six 15-second UGC Reels under the product gallery.
